CEO CookOff: Terms and Conditions

EVENT

1. By registering as a participant, you are deemed to have read and agree to be bound to the Terms and Conditions set out below.

2. The CEO CookOff is an initiative of OzHarvest (ABN [33 107 782 196 and Qantas Airways Limited (ABN 16 009 661 901) to be conducted on the evening of 6 February 2012 at Cathedral Square in Sydney, where up to 200 CEOs from various companies will cook with 20 celebrity chefs to feed 1000 people in need (Event).

3. The Event aims to create awareness about food security and homelessness, raise funds for OzHarvest and Mission Australia as well as feed 1000 people in need (Purpose).

4. CEOs from various companies will be invited to register to participate in the Event.

5. The registration fee for the Event is $1500.

6. Participants will be encouraged to fundraise for the Purpose.

7. Participants in the Event will experience a first hand connection with those in need and will be required to

a. prepare food in a team with a celebrity chef;

b. cook in a team supervised and guided by a celebrity chef;

c. assist with the set up of serviettes, plates, cutlery etc;

d. serve food;

e. share a meal with a group of people in need; and

f. undertake general cleaning and tidying up of plates, cutlery etc post the meal in an outdoor setting.

8. By registering and taking part in the Event, participants acknowledge that the CEO CookOff is an active and involved Event. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the Event, and release the OzHarvest and Qantas Airways Limited and all its personnel from all liability relating to or arising from  travel to and from the Event.

9. By registering and taking part in the Event, all participants agree to allow their photograph, video, multimedia or film likeness, name and profile to be used in connection with the Event by OzHarvest and Qantas Airways Limited without payment or compensation.

10. All participants must obtain permission from their respective companies to both Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest to use their company’s name, logo and profile to be displayed on the CEO CookOff Leader board at the Event and on the CEO CookOff website.

11. Participants acknowledge that any member of the public will have the ability to search the website, view the participant’s profile and company profile and sponsor a participant.

12. Where a participant becomes unavailable to attend the Event, a senior leader from the same company may attend in their place. OzHarvest and Qantas Airways Limited must be advised via email (info@ceocookoff) as soon as possible of the replacement participant’s details.

13. The registration fee will not be refunded should any participant not be available to attend the Event or send a replacement.

14. Whilst OzHarvest and Qantas Airways Limited has made every endeavour to ensure the information supplied through the CEO CookOff Web site is suitable, accurate and complete, no warranty is given that the material contained within is free from error or omission.

WEB SITE

15. The material on the CEO CookOff web site must not be used, copied, modified, transmitted, stored, published or distributed, without obtaining the prior written consent of Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest.

16. Any trade marks (whether registered or unregistered) and logos used on the CEO CookOff web site must not be used or modified in any way without obtaining the prior written consent of Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest.

17. The CEO CookOff web site, products, technology and processes contained in the web site may be the subject of other intellectual property rights owned by Qantas Airways Limited or OzHarvest or by third parties. No licence is granted in respect of those intellectual property rights other than as set out in these Terms. Your use of this web site must not in any way infringe the intellectual property rights of any person.

18. The CEO CookOff web site may contain links to, or frame, web sites of third parties (External Sites). Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest are not required to maintain or update the links.

19. Links to, or framing of, External Sites should not be construed as any endorsement, approval, recommendation or preference by Qantas Airways Limited or OzHarvest of the owners or operators of the External Sites, or for any information, products or services referred to on the External Sites unless expressly indicated on this web site.

20. Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest do not endorse the content on External Sites and make no warranties and accept no liability in relation to material contained on External Sites. Qantas Airways Limited and OzHarvest are not liable to you or anyone else if interference with or damage to your computer systems occurs in connection with use of the CEO CookOff web site or an External Site. You must take your own precautions to ensure that whatever you select for use from this web site is free of viruses or anything else that may interfere with or damage the operation of your computer systems.
