Chris Day

Chris brings professional rigour and genuine passion to his role as CEO of ICR Group. His love of food started young and led him to train as a classically trained chef in England, an experience that instilled precision, a strong work ethic under pressure, and an appreciation for the way good food brings people together. That foundation shapes how he leads today: hands-on, detail-oriented, and grounded in the belief that taking care of people, whether customers or colleagues, is what matters most.

Outside of work, Chris is a bit of a breaded larrikin with gifted hands and a love of all things sustainable, ethical and tasty. Besides his family and friends, his biggest taste-tester these days is his best doggo friend, Boddington, who inspired Chris to create Uncle Chris' Pet Treats, a handmade range built on real food, artisan craft and 100% love. Nothing makes him happier than crafting little morsels of joy for Boddington, and now he's sharing that love with everyone else's best companions too.
