Paul Calvert is a senior retail operations executive with over two decades of experience across major international retailers, including bp, The Reject Shop, Coles, Woolworths, and Sainsbury’s (UK). He currently serves as Senior Manager – Retail & Convenience ANZ at bp Australia.
Paul is also a Board Member of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), contributing to industry-wide strategy and advocacy for the convenience retail sector. He holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Teesside.
Based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, with his wife Steph and 2 daughters Lexi and Halle. He loves the outdoors and sport none more so that Aston Villa games in the early hours. Paul brings a track record spanning grocery, convenience, discount, and fuel retail, with deep expertise in operations, P&L management, and large-scale team leadership.
For this year’s OzHarvest CEO cook-off, Paul is proud to support a cause that tackles food insecurity and food waste across Australia. By participating in the Cook-off and fundraising campaign, he hopes to help raise awareness and critical funds to support OzHarvest’s mission of nourishing communities and creating positive change for people in need.
