Having spent 19 years as a General Manager in the event industry, both in Australia and the UK, Richard's experience lends itself well to his role as NSW & ACT State Manager of OzHarvest. With a genuine passion for making a difference, Richard started his OzHarvest journey as a volunteer more than a decade ago and feels honoured and privileged to put his skills and experience to use for such an amazing organisation.

Across NSW and ACT, Richard's team now rescues over 7.2 million kgs of food a year from more than 930 donors, delivering nearly 14.25 million meals to over 620 charities with a fleet of 29 yellow vans. Nationally, 2025 was OzHarvest's biggest year yet: 17.6 million kgs of food rescued and over 35 million meals delivered.

That's why events like CEO CookOff matter so much. Last year, CEOs and business leaders who chopped, stirred and served alongside chef legends raised more than $1.5 million, enabling OzHarvest to deliver an additional 3 million meals to people in need. Richard is passionate and dedicated to fighting food waste and helping those in need across the country and is proud to be cooking up more impact again this year.
