More Than a Meal

Well, this one feels pretty special. 💛

Food has been part of my world for more than 10 years...growing it, moving it, selling it and now working every day to stop it ending up in landfill.

So being nominated for the OzHarvest CEO CookOff feels like a pretty great full-circle moment.

On 22 October, I'm swapping food waste for food rescue (and my laptop for an apron 👩‍🍳) and joining some incredible business leaders and chefs to cook and share a meal with people in our community.

OzHarvest and enrich360 work at different points of the food journey.

OzHarvest rescues good food and gets it to people who need it.

At enrich360, we're tackling what happens when food can no longer be eaten, finding better ways to keep it out of landfill and its nutrients in circulation.

Different solutions. Same food system. And one belief I think we can all get behind:

Food is too valuable to waste.

Now for the fun part.

I've set myself a target of $5,000, enough to provide 10,000 meals. 🍽️

And I'm going to need some help getting there.
