Support my CookOff to feed people in need.

This October, I’m taking part in OzHarvest’s CEO CookOff and rolling up my sleeves to cook alongside chefs and other community and business leaders, while raising funds to help provide meals for people doing it tough.

For the past 10 years, I’ve led the delivery of Hunter Homeless Connect Day, with the ongoing support of Home in Place, who provide my time to deliver the event. I also serve as Chairperson of Hunter Homeless Connect, giving me a firsthand view of how the needs of our community have changed and grown over that time. It’s no longer only impacting people experiencing homelessness, the rising cost of living is pushing more individuals and families to seek food relief, many for the first time.

So, for me, the CEO CookOff is a chance to contribute personally to an issue I see through my work in the community every day.
