BP backs OzHarvest's flagship fundraising event – CEO CookOff 201829 January 2018
OzHarvest is thrilled to announce BP as the Major Event Partner of the 2018 CEO CookOff™ for the second year running. As OzHarvest’s flagship fundraiser, the CEO CookOff is an event like no other, where Australia’s most talented chefs unite with industry leaders to create and serve a gourmet dinner feeding more than 1,000 vulnerable people. This year the CEO CookOff will be held at a new venue, Sydney's Royal Hall of Industries, on Monday 19 March.
Ronni Kahn, OzHarvest CEO and Founder, said BP’s energy and financial support is crucial to help stage this one of a kind event.
“The CEO CookOff is a huge event and thanks to BP continuing as Major Event Partner we can create a truly magical experience for all involved and focus on reaching our $2million fundraising goal! We are delighted that BP is part of the OzHarvest family, helping us to create positive change in local communities, fuelling our fleet of food rescue vans and giving back in a meaningful way,” said Ronni Kahn.
This year BP has registered a team to take part in the CEO CookOff to raise funds for OzHarvest. BP President Andy Holmes, Upstream HR Manager Karen Cropley and NSW Regional & Transport Manager Vanda Power and Warren Clark, CEO of NatRoad, will join forces to cook up a storm for the guests.
“It’s a privilege to be part of this amazing movement and I truly believe we can help OzHarvest reach their $2million target. Energy is the heartbeat of BP and we are proud to support OzHarvest as they nourish and energise communities across Australia,” said Andy Holmes.
BP is OzHarvest’s Ultimate Partner fuelling all our food rescue vans and donating quality surplus food from 120 BP stores (and growing) across the country.
