Mark Carter is the Managing Director of Cooler Pty Ltd, a Brisbane-based business specialising in refrigerated transport and specialist vehicle solutions.

Cooler has been part of the local transport industry for more than 40 years, building, servicing and repairing vehicles that help keep Australian businesses moving. Mark’s background and interests sit right at the intersection of engineering, practical problem-solving and transport — finding better ways to build reliable assets, support fleets and keep critical goods moving.

Food is also a big part of what Cooler does. Refrigerated transport plays a quiet but important role in getting food where it needs to go, safely and reliably. That makes the CEO CookOff a cause that feels close to home.

It is difficult to know that perfectly good food can go to waste while people in our community are struggling to put meals on the table. OzHarvest does incredible work closing that gap by rescuing food, reducing waste and helping feed people who need support.

Mark is taking part to cook alongside other leaders, support OzHarvest and help provide meals for people in need. It is a strong reminder that food, logistics and community are all connected — and that a practical contribution can make a real difference.
