Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As the founder of Godly Women with Faith Catholic Ministry and our outreach initiative mission, Feed My People, I am deeply humbled and grateful to share that we are taking part in the OzHarvest CEOCookOff — a national event that unites business leaders, chefs, and community members in the mission to fight hunger and reduce food waste throughout Australia.

This is not about us — it is about serving Jesus in the poor and the hungry, and answering His call with open hands and hearts. We are reminded in the Gospel:

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

Why We Are Partnering with OzHarvest

OzHarvest rescues surplus food and redistributes it to families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. They deliver more than 30 million meals each year. Through this vital work, they offer more than food — they offer dignity, healing, and hope.

In our Feed My People mission, we help families cook with care, reduce food waste, and nourish those in need. Yet, many of the people we encounter have nothing to prepare. That is why we are joining hands with OzHarvest — to bring the light of Christ where it is needed most.

Our Goal: $5000 = Ten Thousand Meals

We have prayerfully set a goal of $5000, knowing that every $1 donated provides 2 nourishing meals. This means your support will help OzHarvest provide at least 10 thousand meals for individuals and families facing hunger.

Every donation is a seed of hope planted in faith, and every act of giving is an expression of the love of Jesus Christ made visible in the world.

Rooted in Scripture

Our mission stands on the Word of God. We are inspired by Saint Paul’s teaching in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

“Remember this: The one who plants few seeds will have a small harvest. But the one who plants a lot will have a big harvest. Each one of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. You should not give if it makes you unhappy or if you feel forced to give. God loves those who are happy to give.” 2 Corinthians 9:6–7
