This October, I’m participating in OzHarvest's CEO CookOff to cook meals and raise crucial funds for people doing it tough in our community.

Why this matters to me:
Growing up, my parents did everything possible to keep food on the table. My dad worked 7 days a week, and my mum worked part-time while caring for three kids; including my younger brother, who is autistic and requires around the clock care.

Even when money was tight, we always had a meal on the table. That upbringing taught me early on that every meal is a privilege; something so many don't have, especially right now, when far too many people don't know where their next meal is coming from.

How you can help: With the cost of living skyrocketing, the demand for food relief in Australia is at an all-time high. I’m teaming up with top chefs and leaders to reduce food waste and make a real difference.
