Food is the most beautiful way to bond!!
Food has always been a very personal touch in my life. Growing up without much in the way of money meant that every meal was cherished. Any new foods and flavours were to be enjoyed to the fullest as so much hard work went into earning it.When I started Hands on Journeys, one of our earliest experiences was to host recipe classes, set up food trucks and run soup kitchens in India, Cambodia and many other countries. We helped local communities create businesses and livelihoods out of the passion to share their cultures with the world. I wanted to spread the joy of food and immerse my travellers in the local culture, with a journey lead by the locals.
Food is the most beautiful way to bond — we all need to eat, and yet we have found a million different ways to prepare food and share it with one another.
Now, I’m turning up the heat again and participating in another great cause. OzHarvest is supporting multiple charities with the CEO CookOff, helping to provide food to people in need.

I'm taking part in OzHarvest's CEO CookOff this October to cook meals and raise crucial funds to feed people in need in my local community.
With the cost of living increasing, the demand for food relief in Australia is at an all-time high as people struggle to make ends meet.
I'm teaming up with Australia's most talented chefs, and other CEOs and leaders to reduce food waste and make a difference to Australia’s most vulnerable.
Every $1 donated to OzHarvest means they can deliver 2 meals to those in need.
